What to Expect
You may see people removing their shoes, standing in rows for prayer, reciting quietly, or greeting one another. You are welcome to observe from the back or ask someone for help.
What to Wear
Modest, comfortable clothing is best. Women visitors may choose to cover their hair in the prayer area, but if you are unsure, just ask and we will help respectfully.
When to Come
Friday prayer is the largest weekly gathering, while daily prayers are quieter. If you would like a conversation or tour, contact us first so someone can meet you.
Before You Arrive
If you are planning your first visit, you can come as you are and ask for help at the entrance. Removing shoes before entering the prayer area is common. If prayer is about to begin, someone can show you where to sit or stand respectfully.
During the Prayer
Muslim prayer includes standing, bowing, and prostrating. Visitors do not need to join the movements unless they want to and know how. It is perfectly fine to observe quietly, silence your phone, and wait until the prayer ends to ask questions.
After the Visit
Many visitors leave with new questions. That is normal. You can ask about what you saw, request a tour, learn about Islam, or arrange a conversation with someone from the community. The goal is welcome, not pressure.
